Pondhouse was founded in 1992 by Sifu Estin Kiger and Cynthia Campbell-Kiger.  Located on 5 tranquil acres in South-Central Oregon just minutes from Jacksonville and Medford. 

IMPORTANT NOTICE: In 2020 we suspended all in-person classes/practices because of COVID and will not be doing in-person classes/practices in the future. Since 2020 and into the future, we have and will be offering FREE online practices featuring exercises specific to enhance health, vitality and peace of mind (Wednesdays and Saturdays 10:30 - 11:30 AM Pacific)- No experience necessary. Although we are not conducting regular in-person practices now in the future, we may present some special in-person events and trainings at the PondHouse dojo.

Carolyn Wolf - Certified Tai Chi Practice Leader

Carolyn Wolf teaches outdoor beginning Tai Chi classes (weather permitting) in the Medford, Central Point and Jacksonville area.

Starts Friday, January 27th, from 10:00 - 11:00. Details in their printed schedule,

or online Central Point Parks and Rec  For total beginners, can be done seated

or standing.

Location: City Hall Rm 1 | 155 S. 2nd St.                                          

Class Description Learn techniques to enhance balance, coordination, memory

and relaxation through guided practice of QiGong and Tai Chi forms that

incorporate slow movement, visualization, breathwork, and self-massage.                                    Practice can be done seated or standing.

Session 1: Jan. 27th - Mar. 3rd | Fridays | $45.00

Session 2: Mar. 17th - Apr. 21st | Fridays | $45.00

Class: Beginning Tai Chi with Carolyn

Location: Jacksonville Community Center, 160 East Main St., Jacksonville

In person classes: Thursdays, 9:00-10:00. Class meets in 6-week blocks,

with a week off in between blocks.

Class Description Focus is on easy QiGong exercises for

maximizing health and well-being. Learn how to apply the

Three Intentions (posture, breath, and mindfulness) to

simple Tai Chi movements that improve balance, lower

stress, and increase relaxation.  Pre-register on-line to

guarantee a spot. Cost is $7.00 per class.
